It’s not unusual for our ganky-toothed, cellulite dimpled stars to swan off to Hollywood only to get themselves a complex and ending up toned, teeth whitened fractions of their former selves, but quite frankly I’m surprised that the Pegg would succumb to such airbrushing and un-ginger-ing as evidenced on the side of Edinburgh’s buses recently- he’s been pixellated into leading man material!

Simon, we liked you fine as you were- quirky and ginger.

Anyway, I’m just off to Thresher’s to do the weekly shopping…
